BenQ AK700ST 4K Laser Golf Simulator Projector

The BenQ AK700ST is a purpose-built 4K laser projector designed for home golf simulators, delivering excellent image quality, flexible short-throw installation, and golf-specific features at a more accessible price point.

With 4,000 ANSI lumens, 4K UHD resolution, and a 0.69–0.83 short-throw ratio, the AK700ST is a great fit for dedicated or moderately light-controlled simulator rooms where image quality, screen coverage, and installation flexibility are the priority.

Designed Specifically for Golf Simulation

Unlike a traditional office or home theater projector, the AK700ST is designed with golf simulation in mind.

BenQ’s dedicated Golf Mode is tuned to enhance the natural colors and textures found throughout a golf course, helping greens, fairways, rough, bunkers, trees, and terrain appear more realistic and immersive.

Its 4K UHD resolution provides the detail needed to take advantage of today’s high-end simulator software, producing a crisp image even across large impact screens.

Auto Screen Fit & Easy Setup

The AK700ST includes BenQ’s automated setup technology to help simplify projector installation and image alignment.

Features include:

• Auto Screen Fit

• Auto Focus

• Corner Fit

• Keystone Adjustment

• Screen Fill

• Curved-Screen Image Adjustment

These tools help reduce the amount of manual image correction required during installation and make it easier to properly fill custom simulator screens.

Flexible Short-Throw Installation

With a 0.69–0.83 throw ratio, the AK700ST can create a large image from a relatively short distance.

This makes it especially useful in rooms where ceiling depth is limited or where the projector needs to stay safely above and behind the golfer while still filling a large impact screen.

The shorter throw range also gives installers more flexibility compared with longer-throw golf simulator projectors.

More Than Just Golf

The AK700ST is also an excellent option for customers who want their simulator room to double as an entertainment space.

Its 4K resolution and dedicated picture modes make it well suited for:

• Golf simulation

• Movies

• Sports

• Console gaming

• PC gaming

• Streaming

Support for HDR10, HLG, and eARC also makes the AK700ST easier to integrate into modern home theater and soundbar setups.

Laser Light Source

The AK700ST uses a long-life laser light source, eliminating the need for traditional projector lamp replacements.

This makes it a great fit for simulator rooms that may see frequent use throughout the week, while providing consistent brightness and performance over thousands of hours.

Pixel Golf Recommendation

The AK700ST is one of the best entry points into a premium 4K golf simulator projector.

For dedicated home simulator rooms with good lighting control, its 4,000-lumen output provides plenty of brightness while maintaining excellent 4K detail and color performance.

It also shares the same 0.69–0.83 throw range as the AK800ST, making it especially attractive for rooms where projector placement is limited.

Customers with larger screens, brighter rooms, or higher ambient-light levels may benefit from stepping up to the AK800ST or AK900ST, but for many home simulator installations, the AK700ST offers an excellent combination of 4K image quality, short-throw flexibility, golf-specific features, and value.
